Arqos is infrastructure-monitoring software operated by ThinkOpen, Inc. This policy covers the Arqos web dashboard, the Arqos iOS/iPadOS app, and the monitoring agent. Our guiding principle is the same one that shapes the product: collect the minimum needed to do the job, and never more.
What the app collects
- Account identity — the email address you sign in with, used only to authenticate you and attribute actions (e.g. who acknowledged an alert).
- Push token— when you enable notifications, your device’s Apple Push Notification token, used solely to deliver alerts about infrastructure you have access to. It is removed when you sign out or disable notifications.
- Authentication token — a signed session token stored in the device Keychain so you stay signed in. It never leaves your device except as an authorization header to the Arqos API.
What the service stores
To monitor your infrastructure, Arqos stores the operational telemetry your agents and probes report — hostnames, IP addresses, OS/version, CPU/memory/disk utilization, uptime, and reachability check results — together with the alerts derived from it. This is the product. It is tied to your organization and visible only to users you have granted access.
What Arqos never does
- We do not sell or rent your data, ever.
- We do not use your data for advertising, and there are no third-party trackers in the app.
- The agent is telemetry-only by architecture — it cannot run commands, open files, or receive a remote-execution instruction.
- We do not access data outside the organization your account is scoped to.
Sharing & processors
We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service — hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and Apple Push Notification service for alerts — each acting as a processor on our behalf. We disclose data if legally compelled.
Retention
Telemetry is retained on a rolling window appropriate to monitoring and reporting; account and access records persist for the life of your organization’s account. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
Your choices
You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings or by signing out, and you can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Closing your organization’s account removes its telemetry and access records.
